The 40 Year Americana Collection of a Central Ohio Couple

May 4, 2024, 11a.

Americana Featuring Items From The Ohio River Valley

For over 60 years, Garth's Auctions and its clients held a deep appreciation of the rich history and material culture of the Ohio Valley. In fact, the auctionhouse dealt with objects from throughout Ohio and the surrounding states in nearly every auction at Garth’s: pottery, porcelain, glass, works of art, firearms, furniture, and more – the list is long.

Now, join Amelia Jeffers, Auctioneers & Appraisers in reviving a dearly-beloved tradition from Garth's: the Ohio Valley Auction, an annual celebration of Ohio's historical and cultural heritage, held at the Garth's Barn on May 4, recurring each spring.

Join me as we reignite a legacy to honor Ohio's rich history.

On May 3, 2024 we will feature the 40+ year collection of a central Ohio couple, longtime buyers the Garth's barn with a wonderful selection of 18th and 19th Century antiques and folk art. Stay tuned for more updates!

On May 4, 2024, we pay homage to the material culture created in and around one of the most influential regions on American history and westward expansion: The Ohio River Valley.
